Event Waiver

Event Waiver and Release of Liability

This Event Waiver and Release of Liability (“Waiver”) is entered into by the undersigned participant (“Participant”) in favor of A Good Swallow Pte Ltd (“Company”), its owners, employees, affiliates, representatives, agents, event partners, and contractors. By purchasing tickets to our events or products through our website or other platforms, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Assumption of Risk

By participating in any event hosted by the Company or using any products purchased from the Company, the Participant acknowledges that participation may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Consumption of food and beverages.

  • Food allergies or intolerances.

  • Use of kitchen or dining equipment.

  • Physical activity during run events or similar activities.

  • Alcohol consumption (if applicable).
    The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the event or product usage, whether known or unknown.

2. Dietary Restrictions and Allergies

It is the sole responsibility of the Participant to inform the Company in advance of any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or intolerances. While the Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary needs, it cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens.

3. Alcohol Consumption (if applicable)

If alcohol is served during an event:

  • The Participant affirms they are at least 18/21 years of age (depending on local legal drinking age) and will consume alcohol responsibly.

  • The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any individual who appears intoxicated or behaves inappropriately.

  • The Participant assumes full responsibility for any liability resulting from their consumption of alcohol at the event.

4. Release of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Participant releases and discharges A Good Swallow Pte Ltd from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in events or use of products sold by the Company. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Personal injury.

  • Illness (including foodborne illnesses).

  • Property damage.

  • Any other loss or damage, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

5. Photo/Video Release

The Participant grants A Good Swallow Pte Ltd permission to use any photographs or video footage taken during events for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes. If the Participant wishes to opt out, they must notify the Company in writing prior to the event.

6. Medical Treatment

In case of an emergency during an event:

  • The Participant consents to receive necessary medical treatment.

  • The Participant agrees to be financially responsible for any associated costs.

7. Product Usage

By purchasing products from A Good Swallow Pte Ltd:

  • The Participant acknowledges that proper use and storage instructions are provided with each product.

  • The Company is not liable for damages resulting from improper use, storage, or handling by the Participant.

8. Governing Law

This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

9. Severability

If any provision of this Waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Participant Acknowledgment

By purchasing tickets or products from A Good Swallow Pte Ltd, you confirm that you have read and fully understand this Waiver and voluntarily agree to its terms.
